The core interface does not load after installing Windows updates released on March 13, 2018 for Windows Server 2012 Standard.
Error message in the AppRecovery logs is:
Replay.ServiceHost.Implementation.Hosting.ListenerService () Caught exception processing HTTP operation System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException depth 0: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. (0x80131604) ---> System.AccessViolationException depth 1: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. (0x80004003)

This is caused by Microsoft KB 4088877 rolled out on March 13, 2018.
Please make sure your core is first running v126.96.36.199. Then install the P-2377.msi patch. Keep in mind that this patch is only compatible with this version. If the file will not install, try right-clicking on the file, then click on the compatibility tab. Set the file to run as a previous version of Windows, then start the installer again. Confirm that it's installed in Programs and Features before starting the services back up. Please see the link below. It also includes the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015.

Please follow these steps to address it:
- Stop the Core service.
- Download and install either vc_redist.x64.exe or vc_redist.x86.exe from link posted above.
- Start the Core service.
